Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a 1st Shift Pressroom Operator for our client located in Attleboro, MA.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Job Summary: Operates primary or secondary presses and inspects the quality of the product produced with precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect the quality of the product produced for conformance to specifications per the Production Master Sheet, the In-Process Inspection Sheet, or special instructions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicator gages.
- Load coils of raw material and remove scrap material from the press area etc.
- Identify coils of nonconforming material and/or finished products and segregate them as necessary.
- Perform and document required preventive maintenance on assigned press.
- Complete the required paperwork as instructed by the pressroom supervision.
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to quickly respond to sound, light, or a picture when it appears.
- Ability to think ahead.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with associates, customers, and subcontractors.
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and determine resources needed.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
