Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a 1st Shift Water Spider/Material Handler for our client located in North Kingstown, RI
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pay: $17 per hour
Job Summary: A Water Spider must be completely familiar with the materials, tools, and methods established by the company. This great job opportunity also requires being constantly on the move to facilitate workflow. The candidate must also have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- The replenishment of electrical components.
- Keeping accurate inventory and updating working flow monitoring systems with an assortment of software programs.
- Ordering and delivering material.
- Putting away SMT (Surface-mount technology component) reels in the electronics storage towers (all computer SW-driven).
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ months of production work experience within a manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals.
- Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities.
- Ability to follow through on tasks assigned to completion.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma/GED
- Required to stand 8 to 10 hours a day depending on shift.
