Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a 2nd Shift Line Lead Assembler for our client located in North Kingstown, RI
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday with OT available on Fridays
Hours:
3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
Company Overview:
Debbie’s Staffing is currently recruiting a 2nd Shift Line Lead Assembler for our client in North Kingstown, RI. Join our team and play a crucial role in coordinating daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
Job Summary:
As a 2nd Shift Line Lead Assembler, you will be responsible for coordinating, prioritizing, and enabling daily production activities. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure the execution of the production plan, meet customer requirements, and achieve incentive metrics goals.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output, and on-time delivery targets.
- Identify and resolve material/capacity constraints, including expediting and prioritizing functions, and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices and complete ERP transactions accurately.
- Lead daily production meetings and assist in creating and publishing metrics.
- Assist in training and coaching the production workforce.
- Use data and continuous improvement tools to drive process improvement and resolve corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Inventory Management software (Mapics experience a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of lean practices and continuous improvement tools.
- Ability to lead by example, provide guidance and mentoring to peers, and promote teamwork.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated project leadership responsibilities.
