Job Description
DEBBIE’S STAFFING IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY LOCATED IN THE MARTINSVILLE, VA AREA.
General Responsibilities
Provide service to agency clients and/or supporting production companies in the sale of new business, as well as the maintenance and retention of existing businesses.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Help customers file claims in the office or via conference call and accept payments
2. Distribute emails from subscribers to producers every Monday and Wednesday
3. Process creditor/lien holder applications on personal lines policies
4. Update customer contact information on Epic
5. Print and have customers sign policy change forms to handle them accordingly.
6. Send correspondence for production companies
7 Process coverage changes and/or vehicle replacement
8. Check vehicles every time a customer makes a change or pays their bill
9. Serve existing customers from multiple lines and transfer to production companies if they are interested
Nature and Scope
A Personal Lines Customer Service Representative is the backbone of the agency. They promote growth within the agency by improving retention. They are the first impression our clients have of our agency and as such, they should be friendly and empathetic to the client's needs. This person should have strong communication skills and always exemplify professionalism. Organizational and computer skills, i.e., Word/Excel, are a must.
Work Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 depending on experience and certifications
