Debbie's Staffing is now recruiting for an Assembler/Mechanical for our client located in Pawtucket, RI.

Payrate: $23-$30

SUMMARY

Perform difficult and diverse complete mechanical assemblies of a variety of machines and

equipment requiring accurate alignment, fitting and adjustment to close tolerance for a large number of inter-related parts. Set-Up and trouble shoot problems at customer’s facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Able to read manufacturing drawings.

• Work to prints of parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Devise own sequence and method of assembly.

• Assemble machine from parts, material and fasteners supplied.

• Work with a variety of hand tools and power tools such as saber –saw, grinder, and magnetic-held drill.

• Lubricate and install bearings and grease fittings. Hand fit parts as necessary. Assure moving parts operate without binding or excessive looseness over full range of travel. Deburr sharp edges and blend sharp corners.

• Work with checkout personnel on final testing of machines.

• Maintain work area neat and orderly.

• Observe all health and safety requirements.

• Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· 5+ years experience assembling or repairing complex machinery to close tolerances.

· Experience with hydraulic equipment and ability to read hydraulic schematics.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Problem solver and ability to take initiative.

· Ability to work in a team environment.
