Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for an Assembler for our client located in Smithfield, RI
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (Possible OT)
Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated Assembler to join our warehouse department. We are interested in you if you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully. If you are looking for an exciting workplace, please look at the list of qualifications below.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doors for assembly.
- Assemble door units on the singles line.
- Read work orders to assure assembly accuracy.
- Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality.
- Complete the quality product label.
- Safely conduct all activities, adhering to company safety standards.
- Meet standards of quality as set forth by the company.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization.
- Strive to meet team efficiencies for production without compromising quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 75 pounds (or more if applicable)
- Must be able to read measurement tape.
- Basic Math skills.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple guns, and other electric tools when necessary.
