Job Description

Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Automation Maintenance Technician for our client located in Attleboro, MA 

Schedule: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. 
Pay rate: $25 per hour. 

Summary: Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust automation machines and associated secondary equipment as required to restore and/or continue safe and efficient operations. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that all tasks are performed in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints and using precision-measuring instruments and tools.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, and grease guns.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricates/installs machinery or equipment according to blueprints and other specifications.
  • Performs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance on automated machinery and equipment.
  • With assistance, performs programming on automated machinery and equipment.
  • Assists in maintaining records, documents, and schematics on equipment.
Position Requirements:
  • Read and write in English.
  • Computer Knowledge to enter data into production applications and complete the required reports.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds (or more if applicable)
  • Willingness to work as a team player.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic Mathematical skills required.
  • Forklift Certification
