Job Description
Debbie's Staffing is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for our client in Salisbury, NC!
This opportunity is a Temp to Hire Opportunity!
SHIFT: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
PAY RATE: $14-$18 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
- Processing orders from Quote to order entry into Visual Manufacturing.
- Confirming available stock.
- Confirming to the customer a scheduled ship date.
- Coordinating our production team to ensure on time shipments to the customer.
- Communication of delays/ issues in pending orders to customers.
- Creation of customer invoices and mail/e-mail to the customers.
- Attract potential customers by answering product questions.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Manage and assist incoming phone calls.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment and Customer Service role.
- Must be able to follow work order instructions and prepare supporting reports.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and maintain positive attitude and flexibility.
- Must demonstrate stellar communication skills.
- Must follow manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Exceptional attendance and work ethic.
- Must be able to use multiple resources for quoting purposes.
- A plus for someone who has freight and shipping experience.
