Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a Customer Service Manager for our client located in Attleboro, MA
Direct Hire / Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $70k - $80k (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary: Directs all activities relevant to customer service functions, contracts, and accounts. Assures that all customer requests and orders are serviced in a timely, efficient manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and work closely to maintain successful working relationships with plant staff and leadership/management team(s) to provide effective customer service processes and support.
- Manager Customer Service team.
- Oversees training & development of the Customer Service team.
- Ensures that all customer orders are received and entered promptly, including orders submitted electronically, by web portals, and or facsimile transmittals.
- Ensures customer order schedule is timely and immediately communicates to the departmental manager when absence may impede or delay customer order process flow.
- Communicates with customers professionally and respectively, always.
- Escalates customer concerns to the departmental manager to ensure requests are handled in a timely and effective manner.
- Assists with maintaining accurate and updated pricing for parts.
- Assists with facilitating processes for timely purchase orders to production readiness.
- Monitors and follows up on customer concerns to ensure resolution to customers’ satisfaction.
- Travels as necessary to attend customer facilities, trade shows, seminars, and or as needed.
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college/university with five years related experience and/or training or equivalent experience, desired.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative. Precious metal knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and analyze customer order forms, communications, documents, or other customer legal-related documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to management, or as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities at once with a positive attitude.
- Able to work independently.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
