Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a Cycle Counter for our client located in North Kingstown, RI
Schedule: 6:30 am to 4:00 pm - Monday through Thursday and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Summary: Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
- Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations daily.
- Maintain specific monthly accuracy and completeness levels.
- Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.
- Utilize Bill of Material and Where Used reports to interpret component usage.
- Enter physical counts into the MRP system using a barcode scanner.
- Assist in material replenishment as needed as well as other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
- Proven problem-solving, resolution skills, and logical reasoning.
- Attention to detail with accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.
- PC literate with experience with MRP, WMS systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Must be able to operate a fork truck and Wave in the normal course of duties.
- High school diploma/GED.
- 2+ years in a production environment with previous cycle counting experience.
- Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
