Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting Sit Down Forklift Operators, Dock Stocker, and Reach Operators for our client in Fayetteville, NC.

Schedule: We are currently recruiting for the weekend shift. The schedules are:

Monday- Thursday from 6:00pm – 4:30pm

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Job Summary: Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to their own. This position is responsible for operating multiple types of forklift equipment and the ability to operate within a rack warehouse environment. A forklift operator needs to be able to operate a sit-down and a dock stocker. You may be considered for the position if you have experience with a stand-up forklift.

Job Responsibilities:

Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves products to storage locations.
Stacks and stores merchandise using a forklift or other powered equipment in designated areas. Pulls and prepares products for shipment.
Ensures that the exact number and product type is loaded and shipped.
Efficiently performs picking duties and meets customer service standards.
Move products from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and safely and efficiently operate all equipment.
Follows prescribed work methods, maintains appropriate records, and reports to Guarantee Inventory Control and Security.
Assists in physical inventories.
Ensures proper stock rotation.
Conducts cycle counts as requested.
Must have Excel and general computer knowledge.

Requirements:

Must have a clean background and pass drug screening.
Must know how to operate the sit-down and dock stocker. A stand-up lift will be a plus.
Must pass driving and safety tests.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be respectful to other team players.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift, bend, and stack products.
Must have good communication skills (oral and written).
Rehires are approved on a case-by-case basis.
