Other positions dependent upon experience (Machine Operators- up to $18 an hour)
Location: Danville, VA 24541
Job Description: Assembly/ packing cardboard materials. Hot to cool environment, positions may be dusty due to the nature of materials, some lifting involved, inspecting to ensure quality products. Monday- Sunday schedule.
Hours: 1st shift: 5am- 3pm (7:am- 3pm if 8-hour shifts); 2nd shift: 3pm- 1am (3pm- 11pm, if 8-hour shifts)
Essential Functions:
* Packing or assembly
* Gluing
* Quality checks
* Monitoring slowdowns in production
* Ensuring packing materials are within spec
* Trouble shoot and alert proper maintenance or technicians of problems
* Any other task as deemed necessary
Requirements:
* High School Diploma/ GED required
* Some lifting required- up to 50 lbs.
* 6 month - 1 year experience
* Ability to work overtime (mandatory)
* Able to stand full shift
* Can tolerate a hot or dusty environment
* Knowledge packing & production task
* Team workmanship
