Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS/LCAS-A) for our client located in Mooresville, NC!
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.
Work Environment/Schedule: LCAS/LCAS-A will decide if he/she prefers to work in the office or remotely. LCAS/LCAS-A will also set his/her own schedule.
Pay: This is a contracted position, where the LCAS/LCAS-A will be reimbursed a percentage of billing he/she completed. Percentage could range from 35%-40%.
Overview: LCAS will coordinate and monitor the array of service and support identified in each service user’s person-centered plan. These interventions are strength-based and focus on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct Clinical Assessments (as needed).
- Conduct individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions.
- Develops person-centered plans for person served (as needed).
- Manages and monitors case load of active treatment Persons Served.
- Monitors Persons Served Progress.
- Documents all services provided in agency’s ERM (WellSky).
- Completes treatment plans for the Persons Served (as needed).
- May perform other clinical duties as needed in the program.
Successful Candidate Qualifications:
- Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with mental and/or substance abuse and/or behavioral health issues that includes writing person-centered plans.
- Valid Driver’s License/ID.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Education:
- Graduate Degree in Social Work or related field.
