Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Community Relations HR for our client located in Winston-Salem, NC.
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $27.40 per hour, Long Term Position and Weekly Pay!

Position Summary: The community relations HR provides advanced administrative and coordination support for community engagement activities and initiatives. This role supports the execution of community-focused programs and events in alignment with corporate social responsibility goals. Working under limited supervision, this position utilizes extensive hands-on experience to assist with project implementation, stakeholder outreach, and logistical planning.  
 
Position Responsibilities:
Community Engagement Support:
  • Assist in coordinating community involvement activities that support client’s mission and community commitments.
  • Support internal teams by helping implement community-based programs that address local needs.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Facilitate communication and maintain working relationships with community partners, nonprofits, and local stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in a support capacity at community events and meetings, as directed.
Project Assistance
  • Provide logistical support for community events, volunteer initiatives, and outreach campaigns.
  • Help develop timelines, task lists, and resource checklists in coordination with project leads or managers.
  • Monitor assigned project tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Communication Support
  • Assist in preparing communication materials, such as flyers, newsletters, or social media content, related to community activities.
  • Support internal awareness by sharing updates and stories about community initiatives through established channels.
Tracking and Reporting
  • Support the tracking of community program activities, including participation metrics and feedback.
  • Assist with drafting summaries or reports on completed events or initiatives for internal use.
Expense reports
  • Enter all receipts for purchases made for each event, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Carefully categorize each expense and charge it to the appropriate cost center in the expense reporting system.

Job Requirements:
  • Preferred HS + 5 years relevant work experience OR Bachelor's degree + 1
  • Preferred HR Certification.
  • 5+ years of related administrative, project coordination, or community engagement support experience.
  • Highschool or equivalent vocational/technical training in a relevant field (e.g., communications, public relations, nonprofit studies).
  • Ability to work independently within defined procedures and support multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and executing events.
  • Basic project coordination skills (e.g., scheduling, task tracking, coordination support).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); comfortable with digital tools such as social media platforms or collaboration software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
