Debbie's Staffing is now recruiting a Corporate Legal Assistant to work for our client in Winston-Salem, NC!
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM- Temp-Perm
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Corporate Legal Assistant to join a fast-paced legal team. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience in corporate legal documents, corporate filings, estate planning, and trust administration. The Legal Assistant will support attorneys with a variety of corporate and estate-related tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of duties while maintaining organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing corporate documents, including registrations and filings
• Provide support in estate planning and trust administration
• Manage client and firm files, ensuring they are opened and closed according to firm guidelines and maintained electronically using iManage
• Handle e-filing and filing documents with courts and agencies
• Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and arrange travel as needed
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and ensure prompt follow-up
• Submit attorney time entries
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, staff, courts, and vendors to manage appointments and schedules
• Provide backup support to other legal assistants as needed

• Minimum of two years’ legal experience, specifically in corporate law, estate planning, and/or trust administration
• Strong understanding of state and federal court rules, including experience with e-filing procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and iManage (or comparable document management systems)
• Familiarity with time entry software such as Elite or similar
• Excellent organizational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
