Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Maintenance Technician for our client located in Attleboro, MA 

Schedule:  2nd Shift Monday - Friday / Shift starts at 1:00 p.m. 

Pay: $30 per hour. Temp to Hire

Summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. If you are a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully, then we are interested in you. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please look at the list of qualifications below.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow the safety procedures, wear, and maintain personal protective equipment. 
• Machines and equipment inspections. 
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment.
• Install new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts. 
• Installs and repairs transformers, wiring, and electrical machinery components. 
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains the pipe systems. 
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Performs assigned preventive maintenance.
• Fabricates and install machinery or equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
• Automated machinery and equipment programming. 
• Establish communication with suppliers regarding issues and projects. 
• Maintain records, documents, and schematics on equipment.

Position Requirements:

• Read and write in English.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Computer Knowledge to enter data into production applications and complete the required reports.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds (or more if applicable)
• Willingness to work as a team player.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic Mathematical skills required.
• Forklift Certification
