Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $22 - $24 per hour (Depending on experience)

Summary:
 Debbie’s Staffing is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance department of our client located in North Attleboro, MA. If you are diligent, hardworking, and capable of successfully completing tasks, we want to hear from you. This position offers an opportunity to work in an exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety procedures and maintain personal protective equipment.
• Conduct inspections of machines and equipment.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment.
• Install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
• Install and repair transformers, wiring, and electrical machinery components.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Fabricate and install machinery or equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
• Program automated machinery and equipment.
• Establish communication with suppliers regarding issues and projects.
• Maintain records, documents, and schematics on equipment.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Basic computer knowledge to enter data into production applications and complete required reports.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds or more if applicable.
• Willingness to work as a team player.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Forklift Certification
