Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting a Direct Hire 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our client located in Winston-Salem, NC.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (3:30 pm- 2:00 am)
Pay: $26/hr.
Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide crucial support to a Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing standard preventative procedures and employing diagnostic techniques to ensure the smooth operation of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting facility upkeep, covering tasks such as painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, plumping, and electrical work (troubleshooting not exceeding 600v).
- Performing mechanical repairs, welding, and metal fabrication.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on automated conveyor systems, motive equipment, automatic guided vehicles, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and intrusion systems,
- Executing preventive maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrating a Continuous Improvement mindset by actively participating in events and activities that contribute to financial gain, time savings, and waste reduction.
Qualifications:
- An Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent Trade School Certifications.
- Two or more years of maintenance employment experience in an automated distribution environment, with an industrial electronics background and expertise in industrial control circuit troubleshooting and repair related to automated conveyor systems.
- Forklift Certification is required,
- Successful completion of OSHA required training.
- HVAC Certification is preferred.
