Debbie’s Staffing is now offering a great Direct Hire opportunities in Bennettsville, SC!
We have immediate openings for a 1st Shift Manufacturing Trainer
 
1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am- 4:00pm
                                    
Base Pay: $16.00- $22.00 an hour
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented applicants that must have manufacturing production experience that would include the ability to work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and specific verbal and written instructions. Follow and understand prescribed work methods, with pro-active aptitude. IPC-qualification – or IPC- certification training – a plus. Must be able to instruct and train individuals on job processes and classroom work.
Job Responsibilities include:
  1. primary responsibility will be to train Assemblers, Technicians, Quality Inspectors, and pertinent Engineers in J-STD-001 and IPC-620 policies and procedures.
  2. Inspect product and conduct/participate in various Regulatory, Customer and Internal Audits. 
  3. Operates with limited supervision. Experience within electronics manufacturing/inspection of PCBs, electronic assemblies, cable/wire harness assemblies and related technologies a plus. 
  4. Conducts and performs training, coaching and mentoring. 
  5. Develops and executes training schedules. 
  6. Ensure Operators maintain scheduled training to meet certification requirements.
  7. Maintains training programs and materials. 
  8. Evaluates training programs and reports on trainee progress.
  9. Provide assistance to the manufacturing engineers with 1st Article build and/or review of work instructions for production aids, evaluation of manufacturing processes and material list. 
Preferred additional Skills:
  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  2. Ability to instruct others in quality and manufacturing processes and procedures. 
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) 
  4. Maintain certification as Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) J-STD-001 and IPC-62
 
Requirements:    
  • 1-year technical experience (preferred)
  • 1-year manufacturing (preferred)
  • Must be willing to attend on and off-site classes as required.
  • Expected to adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Meet criteria of a Background Check/Drug Test
