Schedule:  1^nd shift Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $20 per hour depending on experience. Temp to Hire, Weekly Pay!

Job Description

Job Title:  Production Lead Person

Department:  Manufacturing

Reports To:   Production Supervisor

Pay rate: up to $20/hr based on skill and experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Self-motivated Lead Person to train new employees and work with the Production Supervisor coordinating the efficient flow of materials and labor for each production cell.  Work closely with Production Associates ensuring product meets specifications and report any issues to Production Supervisor.   Develop and implement daily production schedule based on material, labor and most efficient use of equipment.  Order materials from and post completed production order in ERP System.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish daily and weekly production schedules for labor, materials and equipment in most efficient manner possible
• Order materials and track inventory from ERP System – bags, cartons, sets, steel, brackets, labels, tips, etc.
• Monitor production work cell and adjust workforce as needed to achieve targeted production rates
• Evaluate product quality to ensure product meets all quality specifications
• Train new employees on the proper assembly and packaging methods
• Assist production supervisor and other personnel as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and write English; Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Ability to understand production schedules, product specifications
• Basic Math Skills
• Computer Skills with Microsoft Office, Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems a plus
• Able to stand  for extended periods, Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
