Debbie’s Staffing is searching for a Short Order Cook for our Client located in Greensboro, NC!!
Schedule: Hours will be based upon the catered event. (Many events coming) Also, Club Night on Saturdays from 9PM to 3am.
Pay: $12 per hour- Potential temp to hire position!!
Job Summary: Catering Cook is responsible for preparing meals for events in the venue dining area at a catering function. Catering Staff must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible for preparing meals to guests
· Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
· Recommends certain dishes and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared
· Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Position Requirements:

· Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
· Ability to speak, read and write in English.
· Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Must have own transportation!!
