Job Description
Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate for our client located in Kings Mountain, NC!
Description: The primary function of this position is to remove standard packaging and re-tag, re-label, sticker, change collars, hang tags and pricing on garments per special order requests. Verify and inspect order and repack for shipping.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm. Weekend work may be required as needed.
Pay: $17/hr. Weekly Pay! Temp to Hire!
Essential Functions:
- Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
- Check special order request forms and ensure proper packaging materials are available at the workstation.
- Obtain cases/bundles of garments from the conveyor belt and/or from pallets in the staging area and place at workstation.
- Open cases and dump contents onto worktable, scan bar code to verify contents, inspect and remove standard packaging (OCR, hand tag, collar tag, hangers and price tags) as required.
- Re-tag, re-label, sticker and OCR, change collar, hang tag, hangers, pricing and IRC on garments per special order requests.
- Re-pack garments into cases, seal cases, complete any related paperwork, re-label, or initial and place finished orders on the conveyor or pallet for shipping.
- Prepare cases for export to shipping as required.
- Follow end of shift procedures and perform general housekeeping duties, sweep, pick up trash, trimmings and other debris from the work area and place it in the proper receptables or compactor.
- Complete all required paperwork at start and end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned
Successful Candidate Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
- Must be able to bend, reach, pinch, grasp, turn and twist.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 30lbs.
- Must be literate in reading & writing.
- Must have attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and work well with other departments and individuals.
- Must wear all required PPE and safety gear.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
