Follow verbal and written instructions to perform work correctly and on time.
Read & understand customer specifications and drawings.
Responsible for placing plastic tape, vinyl tape, or rubber plugs on metal part, using the drawing and work order instructions as a guide.
Use all materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner, and make suggestions to area supervisor on ways to be more efficient or reduce cost.
Properly rack masked parts for further processing.
Carefully de-mask product after processing is complete.
Visually inspect all parts for quality of work, at all stages.
Transport parts from masking to finishing stations.
Keep all areas organized and clean.
Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal software programs.
Experience with ERP system is preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
Must have attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and work well with other departments and individuals.
This job operates in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment. Frequent exposure to manufacturing elements such as noise, temperatures, dust, odors, and fumes.
Must be reliable and dependable.

Sweep and clean area, including trailers as needed.
Operate other mechanical devise and/or other controls that operate lifting devices.
