Debbie's Staffing is seeking an Administration Procurement & Logistics Coordinator for our Greensboro, N.C. Client!
Pay Rate: $60,000-65,000
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday with some flexibility
Job Summary:
The Administration Procurement & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services that support the company’s operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring production continuity and operational efficiency by balancing quality, cost, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
ï‚· Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, and service.
ï‚· Create, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) aligned with production and project requirements.
ï‚· Track shipments and follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival, resolving delays or discrepancies.
ï‚· Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs in collaboration with planning and warehouse teams.
ï‚· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing history, and supplier performance.
ï‚· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable outcomes for the business.
ï‚· Partner with Quality, Finance, and Production teams to ensure material availability, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
ï‚· Ensure adherence to company policies, procurement standards, and industry best practices.
ï‚· Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.
ï‚· Support supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
ï‚· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
ï‚· 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
ï‚· Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems.
ï‚· Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
ï‚· Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
ï‚· Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export logistics, and vendor compliance.
- Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and forecasting.
- Awareness of sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
