Debbie’s Staffing is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Client in Reidsville, NC!!
This is a Direct Hire position!! Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: $83,200 per year salary!!
Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer will focus on implementing and maintaining quality system improvements and controls. This role combines technical expertise in quality and customer service relationship management. This individual will monitor, analyze, and improve production and quality processes, while working closely with production, engineering, and customer service teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformances, customer complaints, and internal issues.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection processes.
- Conduct internal audits and support external customer or regulatory audits.
- Monitor process and product quality through inspections, audits, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Maintain and improve ISO 9001 or other quality system documentation and compliance.
- Generate quality reports, dashboards, and trend analysis for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field (preferred)
- 3 + years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and quality tools (e.g., 8D, RCA, SPC, FMEA, control plans).
- Proficiency in using measuring and test equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Experience in commercial printed packaging and ERP systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with IWS, Lean, or Six Sigma
- Establish and track KPIs for quality and improvement initiatives.
