Debbie's Staffing is seeking a Job Placement Specialist for our client in Greensboro, N.C.
Pay Rate: $17- $17.50 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Job Placement Specialist to support individuals in finding meaningful employment by connecting them with potential employers and providing personalized assistance throughout the job search process. This role involves working with diverse populations. The ideal candidate is passionate about career development, knowledgeable about labor market trends, and skilled in relationship building and job matching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, recruit, and interview candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.
- Match candidates’ skills and experience with client job requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure completion of employment documentation.
- Assist clients with resume and cover letter development.
- Provide tips on professional presentation.
- Follow up with placed employees and clients to ensure satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous recruiting, staffing, or HR experience is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent judgment in candidate selection.
- Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with barriers to employment.
- Bilingual or multilingual is a plus.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate client and employer schedules.
This position may be based in an educational institution, employment agency, or within a corporate HR department
