3rd Shift Pre-Assembly Line Lead 
 
Debbie's Staffing is looking for 3rd Shift Lead for our client located in Winston Salem, NC.
 
Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am Monday-Friday (Weekends depending on production)
 
Pay rate: $21.50 per hour, Weekly Pay! Temp-to-hire!

JOB SUMMARY: The Lead will be leading and supporting advanced, assembly operations for industrial products. This role performs complex assembly, calibration, balancing, and testing in accordance with specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. The Assembly Lead ensures quality standards are met, materials are available, safety protocols are followed, and production goals are achieved. 
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform complex and advanced product assembly following established specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to assembly team members.
  • Coordinate work assignments, monitor productivity, and ensure production schedules are met.
  • Serve as a point of contact for assembly team members, providing guidance.
  • Perform high-precision calibration, balancing, testing, and adjustments using specialized measuring instruments.
  • Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy, ensuring low scrap rates and adherence to production standards.
  • Install, repair, inspect, reassemble, replace, refit, and adjust components and finished products as required.
  • Assemble industrial fans according to work orders; balance and test fans and motors to ensure proper performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Track, inventory, and organize parts, tools, and materials used in production.
  • Order, stock, and stage materials to prevent shortages and production delays.
  • Receive, unload, unpack, and distribute materials to designated workstations.
  • Safely operate material-handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and mentoring of new and existing team members.
 
Requirements
  • Previous strong lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environment is required (2-3 years).
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility and stand on concrete for the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift (50-70lbs), bend, stoop, and walk throughout the production floor.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required and pass all required new-hire screenings.
