Dental Hygienist Monday - Wednesday
Debbie's Staffing is looking for Certified Dental Hygienists for our client located in Winston Salem, NC.
Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Wednesday (Flexible Schedule)
Pay rate: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE Weekly Pay! Direct Deposit

Job Summary: Responsible for preventive dental care. Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, oral screenings, taking radiographs, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Works closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care in a safe, comfortable, and efficient clinical environment. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient comfort and oral health.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Clinical Care
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning, using both hand instruments and ultrasonic scalers to remove plaque, calculus, and stains.
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting and assess patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis or periodontitis.
- Take, develop, and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Apply preventive materials such as fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Operate and maintain both the ultrasonic scaler and the ultrasonic cleaner to ensure instruments are properly cleaned, disinfected, and ready for sterilization.
Administrative & Compliance
- Accurately document patient records, treatment notes, and periodontal findings.
- Maintain infection control standards and follow OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
- Manage hygiene schedules efficiently to optimize patient flow.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a certified and licensed Dental Hygienist in good standing with the appropriate state dental board.
- Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.
