1st Shift General Labor
 
Debbie's Staffing is looking for General Labor in Winston Salem, NC.
 
Hours: 6:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Thursday. Must be able to work overtime as requested.
 
Pay rate: $15.00 per hour, Weekly Pay!

Job Summary: This position primarily involves transferring products from smaller boxes into larger boxes. Associates will be required to stand and move throughout the entire shift. Attention to detail is essential, as they must ensure the correct product type and quantity are transferred.
  •  Lift boxes, empty contents onto the worktable, and inspect each pack for defects identified and communicated by the Lead.
  • Discard defective packs into the appropriate containers and repack boxes.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area by sweeping.
  • Pay close attention to detail, as some defects are minor and difficult to identify.
  • Work in a team environment throughout the shift, demonstrating good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Use equipment such as boxcutter, tape guns, glue for resealing packs.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background screening. 
 
Requirements
  • Ability to climb, push, pull, drag, lift, and walk throughout the entire shift.
  • Comfortable working in a dusty environment where smoking may be present.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
  • Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility.
  • Must be willing to work in other areas assigned.
  • Steel-toed shoes are required.
