Pay Range: $19.00-$22.00 hourly

Ennis, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Clerk for our facility.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, benefits, payroll processing, and OSHA safety training requirements and the ability to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the recruiting and interview process, followed by new hire onboarding.
- Maintain current and terminated personnel files; handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
- Process employee changes as needed (employment status, insurance, etc.)
- Maintain vacation records and communicate data to supervisor as necessary.
- Weekly payroll processing, using Lathem and JDE.
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Virginia Employment Laws, I-9/E-Verify and OSHA requirements.
- Complete annual benefit open enrollments for employees.
- Assist with Workers’ Compensation claims and annual corporate audits.
- Responsible for updating annual safety policies and scheduling annual required safety training
- Perform general clerical and other duties as generated by General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing day-to-day HR procedures.
- Previous experience with workplace safety and OSHA compliance strongly preferred.
- Experience with recruiting, benefits, and payroll processing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management at all levels.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant Human Resources experience or a degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
