Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a 1st Shift MEDICAL QUALITY INSPECTOR for our client located in Attleboro, MA!
Job Type: Full-time Temp-Hire
Pay: $20+ per hour
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
SUMMARY:
Perform inspection of customer-supplied product as specified by customer requirements and military specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform visual inspection of plated and un-plated material using unaided eye and/or microscopic examination.
- Perform thickness testing using various instruments such as x-ray machines, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Perform adhesion testing as specified by the customer procedures.
- Provide accurate and complete charts and records on visual, thickness, and adhesion testing.
- Assure general cleanliness and maintenance of inspection equipment and work areas.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to interpret blueprints/drawings
- Use handheld equipment (micrometer, caliper, indicator, air gages, Sunnen gages)
- Experience in using vision systems (comparator)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of related work experience and/or a high school diploma.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to quickly respond to sound, light or a picture when it appears.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with associates, customers and subcontractors.
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and determine resources needed
