3rd Shift Warehouse Custodian Lead
 
Debbie's Staffing is looking for a 3rd Shift Facilities Custodian Lead for our client located in Winston Salem, NC.
 
Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am Monday-Friday (Weekends depending on production)
 
Pay rate: $20.00 per hour, Weekly Pay! Temp-to-hire!

JOB SUMMARY: The Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing daily custodial and sanitation operations while actively performing cleaning duties alongside the team. This role serves as the on-site point of contact, ensuring cleaning standards, safety requirements, and schedules are consistently met. The Lead provides guidance, training, and support to custodial staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant facility.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support daily custodial operations across the facility
  • Assign tasks and ensure proper coverage of all areas
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure company and client cleanliness standards are met
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching for new and existing team members
Daily Cleaning Duties (Hands-On Role) including trash removal, floor care, and surface cleaning.
  • Assist with restroom, breakroom, and common area sanitation
  • Oversee and assist with restroom sanitation and restocking
  • Ensure kitchens and breakrooms are cleaned and sanitized daily
  • Inspect work areas to verify cleanliness and address deficiencies immediately
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns promptly
  • Complete daily checklists and cleaning logs
  • Track attendance and report staffing or performance concerns
 
Requirements
  • Previous lead/supervisory experience in custodian or janitorial required.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
  • Ability to maintain building cleanliness according to company standards
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and walk throughout the facility
  • Ability to pass all new hire screenings
