Job Description

 Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting a Powder Coat Machine Operator Assistant for our client located in North Attleboro, MA!

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 8am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
  • Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
 
Job Summary: The Powder Coating Operator Assistant helps the Lead with all parts of the powder coating process. This includes getting materials ready, moving them, and helping run machines. The job is physical and hands-on, and you’ll work closely with other teams to get tasks done.

Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Assist in producing medallions and awards.
  • Operate and maintain powder coating machines, including cleaning and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare materials and follow curing and coating procedures.
  • Inspect products for quality before and after production.
  • Support assembly, packaging, and masking tasks.
  • Follow procedures and meet company standards.
  • Communicate purchasing needs and collaborate with the team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in production or powder coating is a plus.
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently or with a team.
  • Detail-oriented with basic math and good English communication skills.
  • Able to identify and fix basic equipment issues.
  • Physically able to stand long periods and lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Comfortable with noise and occasional fumes.
  • Willing to learn and follow safety rules.
