1st Shift Material Handler Sunday - Wednesday
 
Debbie's Staffing is looking for 1st Shift Material Handlers for our client located in Rural Hall, NC.
 
Hours: 6:30am – 5:30pm Sunday - Wednesday
 
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour.  Weekly Pay! Direct Deposit

Job Summary: Associates will work in the Automation area as Material Handlers, moving carts and inducting products into the SureSort system using scanners. Must be able to lift cases weighing up to 45 lbs. and be comfortable walking and lifting throughout the entire shift. Responsibilities include batch labeling, accurate picking, packing, and shipping of various direct-to-consumer orders, as well as restocking pick locations. Limited use of material handling equipment may be required.
 
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
• Scan into the Batch Tracking system to track your time in each task performed throughout the shift.
• Picker will accurately pick multiple customer orders.
• Once orders are complete, use proper procedure by package type to either stage or place on the conveyor.
• Operate a power jack at the sortation system to move full containers to load on a trailer.
• Stocker will perform material handling functions as needed to support the operation.
• Stocker will restock pick locations by dumping product into the proper pick location and place excess inside stock area.
• Perform all tasks to ensure a safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Stack empty pallets; clean and sweep work area and remove trash regularly.
• Perform other duties assigned.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.
  • Must be able to stand/walk/lift the entire shift.
  • Work overtime as requested.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
