1st Shift Re-Work Attendant
 
 
Debbie's Staffing is looking for Re-Work Attendants in Winston Salem, NC.
 
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday - Friday. Must be able to work overtime as requested.
 
Pay rate: $15.10 per hour, Weekly Pay!

Job Summary:  Will go through cartons of finished tobacco product doing quality control and fix errors.
 
  • Lift boxes and empty contents onto the worktable, charge batteries, and repack contents.
  • Discard defected packs into appropriate containers and repack cartons and boxes.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area by sweeping.
  • Associates should pay attention to detail; some defects are very minor and hard to see.
  • Potential associates should also have good people skills as they will be interacting with 5 other associates in close proximity over an 8-to-12-hour period.
  • Should be able to repetitively lift up to 45 pounds (Over 50 pounds require a two-person lift). 
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • PPE: gloves can be worn when picking up and carrying boxes.
  • Equipment: knives to cut boxes, tape guns to repair boxes, glue to reseal packs and putty knives
  • Potential Hazards:  sharp knife, glue is non-hazardous and is the same glue used on cigarettes.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background screening, traffic is ok.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to climb, push, pull, drag, and walk the entire shift.
  • Dusty/Smoking Environment
  • Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.
  • Must be ok working in a non-climate control building.
  • Must be able to work in other areas as assigned.
