Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for our client located in Winston-Salem, NC.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour, Short Term Position and Weekly Pay!

Position Summary: The HR Manager will provide hands-on human resources leadership and act as a strategic partner to operational leaders and employees in a warehouse environment. This role supports both short-term and long-term business objectives by delivering effective HR programs, ensuring policy compliance, and fostering a culture of positive employee relations, engagement, and accountability.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute HR initiatives to ensure consistent compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
- Partner with recruiters to support hourly and salaried recruiting efforts, including job postings, job fairs, open houses, and candidate selection.
- Assist with scheduling and participating in interviews with supervisors and managers.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire and leadership onboarding and orientations.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to operational leadership, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely outcomes aligned with company values.
- Prepare and maintain employee counseling, coaching, and disciplinary documentation.
- Manage HRIS data entry, maintenance, and reporting with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Represent the client in employee-related hearings, investigations, and meetings as needed.
- Review HR and operational reports and dashboards to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- 4–6 years of HR management experience, preferably in a warehouse or hourly workforce environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to influence outcomes and resolve conflict.
- Proven experience handling complex employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with exempt and non-exempt employees at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and walk daily in a non–climate-controlled warehouse environment.
