Debbie’s Staffing is seeking a Plumbing Specialist for our Client in High Point, NC!
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Schedule: Requires on call duty
Job Summary: Experienced and dependable Plumbing Specialist to perform skilled plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance at Agency properties. This position is responsible for maintaining plumbing systems, responding to service requests, and providing technical guidance to maintenance staff. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures at HPHA properties.
- Repair and replace toilets, faucets, water lines, sewer lines, and other plumbing components.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure plumbing systems remain in proper working condition.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation to maintenance personnel on plumbing-related projects and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond to emergency plumbing issues as part of an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours calls.
- Follow all safety procedures, building codes, and Agency policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or technical training in plumbing required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of plumbing installation and maintenance experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, water lines, sewer lines, and preventive maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently and participate in an on-call schedule.
