Job Description
Debbie's Staffing is seeking Property Manager for our client in High Point, NC!
This is Temp to Hire assignment
Hours: Vary Must be flexible– (Must be flexible enough to work overtime)

Job Summary
The right individual will manage the operations of multifamily housing developments and supervise a team of housing and maintenance staff responsible for ensuring that residents have decent, safe, and sanitary housing. The position also enforces housing policies, HUD regulations, and requirements of lease agreements.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in business, administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 yrs. experience or training involving public housing, human services, private market property management, and tax credits.
- Prefer Public Housing Management certification
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with property management software, work order systems, and tenant management databases.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) to prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Ability to maintain accurate tenant, lease, inspection, and maintenance records.
- Knowledge of lease administration, rent collection, and occupancy management.
- Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programs and tracking service requests.
- Ability to analyze occupancy, budget, and operational data to identify trends and improve performance.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor coordination, and contract administration.
- Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking skills.
- Ability to prepare compliance reports, performance metrics, and management summaries.
- Knowledge of records management and document retention best practices.
Administrative & Compliance
- Administer lease agreements, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and resident documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations and organizational policies.
- Coordinate property inspections and ensure timely correction of deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate resident files, property records, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor contractor performance and verify completion of maintenance and capital improvement projects.
- Process rent adjustments, payment records, and financial reconciliations in accordance with established procedures.
- Investigate and resolve resident concerns while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports for audits, inspections, and management review.
- Enforce community rules, occupancy standards, and lease provisions consistently and fairly.
- Support emergency preparedness and coordinate responses to property-related incidents.
