Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our client located in Rural Hall, NC!
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm  
Pay: $19.00 per hour, Weekly Pay and Direct Deposit!

Job Summary: Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures all materials are received, inspected, documented, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing all types of packages and equipment for shipment
  • Verifying picked orders by quantities and part number
  • Receiving stock by verifying quantities and part numbers
  • Create and maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists.
  • Enter shipment data into inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Label, stage, and organize materials for distribution or storage.
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments regarding shipment scheduling and discrepancies.
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety procedures.
 
Position Requirements:
  • Reliable, Hard Worker, Motivated, Positive Attitude, Punctual, Respectful
  • Must work well with others and work independently
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to understand and comply with company and safety rules/policies
  • Must have 1 year warehouse experience 
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Must have simple PC skills used in receiving and shipping
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass al new hire screenings
